I met Brent in 2019 when I was looking for a Personal Trainer to help me shift some weight and build some core strength. I've been going to gyms for years, but with Brent's guidance, I was finally able to focus on some problem areas and make some big improvements.

After almost 35 years of a stressful corporate career, countless gym memberships and many promises to myself to get fit and be healthy, I was overweight, unfit and lacking in energy and strength. I had every excuse in the book as to why I could not find the time to prioritise my health and wellbeing.

 

I was then fortunate to watch Brent work with one of his clients as I was on a cross trainer at the gym. I noticed the variety of the exercises his client was doing and this inspired me to have the courage to ask for help from a Personal Trainer.

 

I met with Brent for a consultation where he listened to what I wanted to achieve and we started to meet twice each week for a combination of resistance and functional training. I loved it and really started to feel better in myself quickly and started to see the results. Brent put me at my ease straight away and I never felt foolish doing the new workouts.

 

As we started to gain momentum the gyms closed as a result of COVID-19. Brent then prepared an 8 week program for me to follow at home 3 times each week. This worked very well and he was constantly in touch to help my motivation.

 

Once the rules allowed we started to work outside which we have continued in between the gyms opening and closing.

 

I work with Brent 3 times a week and honestly this is the best thing I have done for myself in as long as I can remember. Each session is different, with variety and lots of energy. This has been a huge transformation for me as I have lost over 30 pounds in weight and now have lots of energy and extra strength in my body. He gives advice on nutrition and keeps me accountable.

 

During the difficult period of the pandemic, the focus of regular exercise and support has had a very positive impact on my mental health at a time where it would have been easy to go in a negative direction.
